Foliar Application Effects of Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles on Growth, Yield and Drought Tolerance of Soybean

In modern agriculture, the application of nano fertilizers is increasing productivity and stability different crops by reducing destructive effects abiotic stresses. The particles are significant for their particle shape, potential reactivity, tunable pore size high surface area. A pot experiment was conducted at Department Agronomy, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Gazipur during Rabi season (December 2020 to March 2021) evaluate foliar spray zinc (ZnO) in varying doses (0, 100 200 ppm) on growth, dry matter accumulation yield soybean under drought (40% field capacity, FC) control (80% conditions. trial a completely randomized design (CRD) with three replications. Plant height; fresh weight leaf, stem whole plant; number pods per seeds pod-1; 100-seed seed were suppressed due stress. Under both conditions, substantially improved soybean. condition, ppm solution increased plant height, total 21.69, 34.23 76.03%, respectively. Zn 26.79 63.50%, conditions 13.07 23.56%, As such results indicated that oxide tolerance soybean.
